Beach in Royal Orchid Beach Resort & Spa, Utorda Beach Goa
The property is a little old and rooms a little outdated. However their winning points are their staff, service and location. What you miss in terms of luxurious room, you get more out of the location and the sprawling property greens outside the room. The beach adjacent to the property is pristine with clean sand. Fairly good for families as it’s not crowded. I’ll come back again to this property mostly because of one reason - their service manager Isha. She was highly professional, extremely diligent and made us feel like home. All our requests were catered to in the most time efficient manner. She made the stay extra special by looking up my birthday on the ID and getting us a cake and a fun decoration in the room - which my toddler thoroughly enjoyed. She was an efficient leader for their staff crew with impeccable hospitality skills!

The rooms were very spacious with all the essential amenities. There are numerous activities to keep children engaged - football nets, geese, fish, trampoline, cricket nets and bowling machine, badminton, archery etc. The beach that the hotel is situated on was beautiful - large and uncrowded. With clear clean waters teeming with sea life - fish, starfish, crabs and beautiful shells. Hotel food was good and well priced - situated next to Zeebops restaurant as well which offers fantastic fresh seafood in a fabulous setting.

Beautiful place! My nephew, sister and I had a splendid time. Caring staff, right by the beach, and a nice pool. The room was spacious too, thanks to the wonderful and warm staff that upgraded us. I want to make a special mention of the hospitality. My sister sprained her ankle at the beach and the staff came all the way with a wheelchair to take my sister back to the room and offered rapid first aid. Excellent service, thank you.

The food was sufficient and good very varied for us. The room was clean and was cleaned properly every day. It was a very nice vacation that we will not forget, we will come back to India. Many thanks to ISHA, she organized a lot for us. The staff is very nice and friendly. In the evening in the restaurant, the Indian cuisine was presented to us, very delicious, very good staff. Big thanks to Isha and Pradeb. (Pool)

Right on the beach front. The front desk lady is exceptional, very professional, and attentive. The security guard at the entrance is helpful with taxi rates and will help negotiate on guests' behalf.
